Artist:

Charlene Fort

Charlene Fort’s journey into glass art began in 2000, taking kiln glass classes with Linda Steider. Her passion for the craft blossomed into a partnership with Andy Nichols in Oregon, where they collaborated on large commissions, mastering the art of blown glass. Charlene’s creations now grace homes and spaces across the Pacific Northwest.

Having attended hundreds of workshops with world-renowned instructors, Charlene honed her craft and eventually taught her own techniques. In 2021, she brought her expertise to Shiner, Texas, building a multidisciplinary glass studio on her property—home to her two longhorn cows, Gig-em and Reveille. Her studio is a haven for glass enthusiasts of all abilities, offering everything from introductory classes to one-of-a-kind commissions.
